Midlands Fatherhood Coalition receives $40,000 from the United Way of the Midlands

Midlands Fatherhood Coalition has announced that it will receive $40,000 from United Way of the Midlands to support Expanding Opportunities for Brighter Futures in Orangeburg for the 2025-2026 fiscal year. The grant will be used to expand services in Orangeburg to throughout the coming year.

“Without the United Way of the Midlands financial support, we would not be able to expand access to services for fathers and families in this community and more fathers would struggle to get the support they need to be responsible and positively involved with their children” said Angela McDuffie, CEO of Midlands Fatherhood Coalition. “The partnership that has been established between Midlands Fatherhood Coalition and United Way of the Midlands is truly a benefit to everyone in the Midlands, and we understand that the results of this grant will be evaluated diligently to ensure the highest quality of service is provided to fathers who need it most.” This is the first year that we are receiving support from United Way of the Midlands for our Orangeburg expansion, and this will help us meet our goal of serving 120 fathers this next fiscal year.
